Inspired by naïve art, it offers a sensitive and structured interpretation of the region, blending geographical representation with contemporary textile expression.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eCreated and presented exclusively to inaugurate the Leporello gallery space in Knowlton in December 2025, this artwork is composed of fifteen unique pieces. Designed to stand alone or function as a cohesive ensemble, the murals depict distinct elements of the region, each centered around the iconic towns of the Eastern Townships. Together, these fragments form a poetic textile map, inviting contemplation and a sense of place.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch5\u003eRaw Appliqué Technique\u003c\/h5\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe shapes are hand-cut and applied directly onto the background using a raw appliqué method. The edges are left exposed, allowing the fabric to evolve over time.
