About the company
Le Point Visible is a quiltmaking company founded in 2018 by artist Marilyn Armand. We design contemporary quilted pieces (blankets, coats, wall hangings and accessories) inspired by traditional know-how that we reinterpret through a modern and sustainable approach.
In 2024, we opened our boutique-workshop in Stanbridge East, a vibrant space where we produce and showcase the work of around twenty craftspeople. This space is both a creative workshop, a showcase and a place to meet the public.
Responsibilities
We are looking for someone to join our small team and take part in the life of the boutique.
The role is varied and covers several aspects:

welcome visitors on weekends and provide a warm, personalized experience;

follow up with clients (orders, custom requests, correspondence);

contribute to soliciting custom projects;

participate in managing the boutique and liaising with artisans;

assist with grant applications (not required, but an asset if possible).
Candidate profile
We are a small team and are looking for someone who enjoys collaboration as well as working independently.
The ideal candidate:

has strong organizational skills and is comfortable communicating in French and English;

demonstrates interpersonal skills, curiosity and reliability;

loves arts and crafts, design and contemporary creation;

Experience in customer service, coordination or sales is an asset, but personality and values come first.
