One-of-a-kind piece Silice | Twin bed quilt

Inspired by the textures that repeat in nature — the gills of a mushroom, the shifting lines of sand dunes, wood grain, or coral relief — Silice is a quilt where curves take center stage.

Each textile was carefully cut, assembled, and then quilted using free-motion stitching on our quilting machine. A meticulous and patient process, where every curve requires special attention.

It’s one of the most complex pieces we’ve created to date.

Silice design

Silice draws its essence from natural textures that repeat, layer, and erode. The tight gills of a mushroom, the ripples of a desert, the rings of a tree trunk, the mineral structures of coral. Living, shifting forms that inspired the composition of this piece.

With its fluid, organic shapes, this quilt evokes movement and the layered structure of living matter. It invites slowness, observation, and feeling.
