We met Alexandre at the 2021 Salon des métiers d’art du Québec. He approached us with a clear idea in mind: to leave with a throw to pack in his suitcase.
Having lived in Quebec for five years, Alexandre was about to fly to France to visit his mother for the holiday season. Having recently acquired an old country house to renovate, he wanted to give her something to wrap herself in by the woodstove once the work was finished! He chose the Altitude model because its patterns evoke both the house’s mansard roof and the surrounding Vercors mountains.
