An exceptional piece, an artistic collaboration
This unique piece is the result of over a year of collaborative work with textile artist Paula Bouffard. She created dozens of natural plant dyes (acacia bark, avocado, etc.) on various reclaimed textiles.
Inspired by the work of raw materials and the harmony of natural colors, quilter Marilyn Armand took over the creation. She explores the element of texture for the making of this quilt. How, by working with quilting techniques (assembly, fabric selection, topstitching, etc.), can one create a movement as rich as the elements composing their daily natural environment?
