Lou-Anne is a professional ceramist recently established in Lac-Brome, in the Eastern Townships. After living in Seattle for 5 years, she made the choice to return to her hometown in January 2020: Montreal. A few weeks later, the health crisis hit and shook many of her professional and personal plans. Within a few months, Lou-Anne took the road to the great outdoors and became the owner of an ancestral home. This house would be the site of her new (and first) ceramic studio! Aware of the challenges involved in cohabiting a living space with a work space, Lou-Anne wanted to mark her new intimate territory with a centerpiece. Waiting for the right moment to offer herself a piece Le point visible, the opportunity seemed obvious to her. Lou-Anne took part in the various stages of co-creating a wall hanging. The result is a testament to the many changes she experienced during this exciting time in her life and a symbol of the craftsmanship of the region. Lou-Anne's wall hanging now proudly welcomes all friends and family members who come to visit her in her new home!
