Mario has literally been immersed in fabrics since his childhood. A descendant of three generations of textile entrepreneurs, Mario decided in 1992 to launch his own textile company: Club Tissus. Having made the company flourish for over 20 years, Mario's son took over the reins of the family business in 2012. Inexhaustible, Mario postponed his plans to retire and instead launched a new business dedicated to recovering fabrics. Tissus MP is a Montreal-based company that sources all of its fabrics from manufacturers in Quebec and Canada. These unwanted products are recycled by Mario and made available to textile companies. Representing constraints too great for most conventional production lines (limited quantities, end of batches, etc.), these colossal quantities of fabrics are diverted from sorting centers and landfills by being upcycled.
It is thanks to his passion, his fine knowledge of the industry and his loyalty that Mario transforms every day thousands of meters of fabric considered as waste by the industry, into a real gold nugget.
Le point visible has been sourced from Mario since 2021. Most of the large quantities of fabric come from his Montreal warehouse. The finds are always exceptional (wools, cottons, corduroy, etc.). Among these, we discovered remnants of fabrics from the Canadian retailer
Le Château and the coat manufacturer Canada Goose.
