SSylvain met Marilyn during the Salon des métiers d'art in Montréal. He was looking for a gift for his wife Chantal for the holidays. Always in search of an original gift for his wife, he used the show's web platform to find an artisan who met his needs.
One evening after work, he decided to visit Marilyn's booth to discover her creations. That's where he fell for the craft of quilting and ordered a custom-made blanket for Chantal. He knew that she would be delighted to snuggle up under her blanket by the fire or on the dock, during trips to the cottage. To personalize his gift, Sylvain decided to offer a custom-made quilt.
Sylvain and Chantal are very happy to have been so involved in the making of their quilt. Marilyn took the time to consult with them via video to choose the fabrics and the design.
The result is a quilt inspired by the environment of their cottage, a place that the couple holds dear. They will enjoy it for many years before giving it to their children. It will become a family memento, which we are sure will bring a lot of comfort!
